What are Moles?

• Moles are ugly blemishes that appear on the skin.
• Moles occur due to hyper-pigmentation of a particular area of the skin.
• This portion of the skin becomes dark, and can even become totally black.
• The size of moles can differ from one person to another.
• Moles appear due to a viral infection.
• Moles are generally flat on the skin.

Home Remedies for treating Moles

1. Coriander
• Grind some coriander to make a poultice of it.
• Apply this on the area of the moles.
• This will help to remove the mole in a few days.

2. Sour Apples
• Take some sour apples.
• Extract their juice.
• Apply this juice on the mole thrice in a day.
• Do it regularly for three weeks.
• The mole thins and begins to fade away.

3. Onion Juice
• Apply the juice of onion onto the moles on a very regular basis.
• Onions have strong antimicrobial agents which help to control infection.

4. Cumin Seeds
• Grind some cumin seeds and make a poultice of them.
• Apply this poultice on the mole.
• Tie it in place with the help of a cloth.
• This is very good for the moles that are bleeding.

5. Milky Juice of Banyan tree
• Apply the milky juice obtained from the trunk of the banyan tree.

6. Dandelion Root
• The dandelion root is one of the best remedies for the removal of moles.
• Cut a root of the dandelion.
• Rub this root till the milky juice of the root smears completely.
• Do this twice or thrice in a day.

7. Use Vitamin E Oil
• Apply oil (vitamin E) on the infected skin.
• Vitamin E oil will also help to keep the surrounding skin healthy
• It will prevent the spread of the infection of moles.

8. Raw Garlic
• Put some crushed raw garlic over it.
• Cover it with an adhesive tape.
• The mole will fall within a week.
• Do not keep the same poultice on for the entire week.
• Wash off the crushed garlic paste when you go for a shower.
• Reapply a fresh paste of garlic and use adhesive tape.
• Changing this dressing twice a day for the entire week will ensure hygiene.

9. Juice of Fig Stem
• Apply milky juice of figs’ stem.
• Apply it two to three times a day.

10. Apple Cider Vinegar
• Apply apple cider vinegar to the affected area using cotton ball.
• Apple cider vinegar is acidic in nature.
• This will help to slough of dead skin cells from the surface of the moles.
• Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and then place it over the mole.
• Apply a small piece of adhesive tape to keep the cotton ball in place.
• This will help to speed up the sloughing off process of the skin.
• Moles will start to shrink in size until they disappear.

11. Salt
• Salt is a humectants.
• It helps to draw out the moisture and fluids from the slices of onion.
• Salt is also a mild antiseptic.
• The liquid obtained from applying salt to onion slices will have antiseptic properties.
• It will help to control the spread of the moles.

Diet for removing Moles

• Eat a diet rich in folic acid and beta-carotene.
• Dark green and leafy vegetables like spinach, cabbage, etc.
• Eat fruits and vegetables like
– Radish
– Mango
– Squash
– Tomato which are orange, yellow and red in color.
