Common Causes of Vertigo

• Due to the free-floating calcium carbonate crystals in the posterior semicircular.
• Canal infection in the ear for example syphilis.
• Vision problems.
• Acute head injury.
• Cardiac conditions.
• Brain tumors.
• Thyroid disease.
• Anemia.
• Calcium disorders.
• Motion sickness.
• Insufficient blood supply to brain.
• High blood pressure.
• High cholesterol.
• Diabetes.

Home Remedies for Vertigo

Spinach
• Green leafy vegetables contain loads of iron and folic acid.
• Spinach has 3.2 mg of iron and 130 mcg of folic acid per 1/2 cup.

Olive Oil
• Warm a few drops of extra virgin olive oil.
• Then place in ear.
• Cover with a cotton ball to prevent drainage.

Baby Oil
• Place two to three drops of baby oil into the ears prior to entering the water.
• This can help prevent Vertigo.

Garlic Oil
• To reduce the inflammation, place two to three drops of garlic oil into the ear canal.
• This can also aid in healing and boost immunity.

Apple cider vinegar
• Apple cider vinegar is an effective cure.
• Dilute apple cider vinegar with equal amounts of water and rubbing alcohol and put the solution in to the affected ear.
• Do this 2 times daily.
• It kills all bacteria and fungi.
• Mix equal parts of white vinegar, water and hydrogen peroxide solution and put in to the affected ear.

Diet for Vertigo

Eat a diet rich in:

• Desiccated liver tablets may be helpful as well and a Folic acid supplement, with Vitamin B6 and B12 can also be taken.

Herbs
• 1/2 to 1 tsp. of the tincture of Yellow dock root three times daily.
• 1/2 to 1 tsp. of extract of Dandelion leaf and or root or two capsules twice daily.
• Eat Dandelion greens in your salads.

Manganese
• Manganese is helpful for protein and fat metabolism, healthy nerves, immune system and blood sugar regulation.
• Manganese is essential for people with iron deficiency.

Some juices and pastes for beating Vertigo
• Have beetroot juice, 1 cup of apple juice, mixed with either sugar or honey once a day.
• Consume a ripe banana with 1 tbsp of honey 2 times a day.
• Soak 10 currants overnight. Remove seeds and have them first thing in the morning for 3-4 weeks.
• Drink a mixture of apple and tomato juice.
