10. Tonsillitis treatment using Spiegel seed
• Take 1-2 teaspoonfuls of Spiegel seed with warm water twice a day.
• This will help in minimizing Tonsillitis attacks.
• This is considered as an effective Tonsillitis remedy.

11. Tonsillitis treatment using Linseed
• A hot poultice of linseed (alsi) should be applied over the front and back of the chest.
• This poultice may be prepared by mixing one cup or sixteen tablespoons of the seeds with a quantity of hot water that is sufficient to convert them into a moist mealy mass.
• This should then be applied carefully.
• Turpentine may also be rubbed over the chest.

12. Tonsillitis treatment using Chicory
• Chicory or endive is another effective home remedy for Tonsillitis.
• The powder of the dry root of this herb should be given in doses of half a teaspoon mixed with one teaspoonful of honey three times a day.
• It is a very useful expectorant in chronic Tonsillitis.

13. Powder of ginger and pepper and honey
• Mix one gram of dry ginger powder and one gram of black pepper in one teaspoon of molasses of honey.

14. Borax

• Take half gram to one gram of it twice or thrice with honey or warm water.

15. Honey and olive oil

16. Fenugreek seeds
• Boil some fenugreek seeds in 250 ml of water.
• remove from flame when one-third of it is left.
• Add one teaspoonful of ginger juice and one teaspoonful of honey in it.
• It is highly beneficial for the Tonsillitis patients.

17. Fennel seeds
• Regular chewing of fennel helps expel infected mucous from the chest. This helps in preventing Tonsillitis attacks.

18. Dry pomegranate
• Peel dry pomegranate and keep them in a jar.
• Boil two raisins and some part of the peel in 250 ml of milk.
• Drink this milk twice a day.
• This is one of the good Tonsillitis remedies.

19. Essential oil of juniper
• A few drops in hot water can act as good inhalant.
• It should not be used undiluted on the skin or handkerchief.

20. Tonsillitis treatment using Turmeric
• Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder should be administered with half a glass of milk.
• It should be taken about two or three times daily.
• It acts best when taken on an empty stomach.

21. Tonsillitis treatment using Ginger
• Prepare a mixture of half a teaspoon of the powder of ginger, pepper, and cloves.
• Take this mixture, three times a day.
• It may be licked with honey.
• It can also be taken as an infusion with tea.

• Onions have been used as a remedy for Tonsillitis for centuries.
• They are said to possess expectorant properties.
• They liquefy phlegm and prevent its further formation.
• One teaspoon of raw onion juice should be taken first thing in the morning for best results.
