What is croup?

• Croup affects the respiratory system especially in young children ages 2-4 years old.
• The person makes wheezing sounds by which we can tell that he or she is having difficulty in breathing.

• There is a low-grade fever accompanied.
• There is swelling of the tissue linings.
• This swelling causes narrowing of the air passages.
• Croup is due to a parainfluenza, RSV, measles, adenovirus or influenza virus.

• This is when the air is changing from hot to cold or cold to hot.

1. Aconite [Acon]
A person who is indicated to this remedy has the following symptoms:
• Constant short and dry cough
