• Chickenpox is a viral infection.

Causes of Chicken Pox

• Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus.
• This is a member of the herpesvirus family.
• The same virus also causes herpes zoster.
• Chickenpox spreads very easily to others.

Symptoms of Chicken Pox

• Fever
• Headache
• Stomach ache
• The chickenpox rash occurs about 10 to 21 days.
• Itchy, fluid-filled blisters over red spots on the skin.
• The blisters are first seen on the face, middle of the body, or scalp.
• After a day or two, the blisters become cloudy.
• They scab.
• They appear in the mouth, in the vagina, and on the eyelids.

Homeopathic Remedies for Chicken pox

1. Antimonium tartaricum
This remedy may be indicated to a person with the following symptoms:
• when eruptions are large
• eruptions are slow to emerge
• child feels sweaty
• fussy
• may be nauseous
• with a white-coated tongue
• chest congestion with a rattling cough
• bubbly sound on breathing

2. Apis mellifica
This remedy may be indicated to a person with the following symptoms:
• the skin around the eruptions is pink and puffy
• eruptions are very itchy
• with stinging pains
• the eyelids may be swollen
• person feels worse from warmth

3. Antimonium crudum
