What is a Peeling Skin?

• A hereditary disorder known as Peeling Skin Syndrome, all of which may require medical consultation to cure peeling skin.

Home Remedies for Peeling Skin

8. Chamomile tea
• Wash the affected area with chamomile tea.
• Take a cup of boiling water and steep 2-3 tsp fresh or dried chamomile flowers in it.
• Strain the decoction and cool it down.

9. Olive oil
• It is said to have therapeutic qualities.
• Apply olive oil to the affected area.
• It would penetrate the skin and cure the rash.

10. Aloe Vera
• Apply Aloe vera gel or pulp on the affected region.
• This would be very helpful in treating the body rash.

11. Baking soda
• Apply baking soda on the affected body part.
• After applying it, press the area gently.
• It would provide relief from the irritation.
• It will also cure the rash.

12. Yellow dock root, chaparral and dandelion
• A poultice made from yellow dock root, chaparral and dandelion would be effective in treatment.
• Take a handful of herb and blend in the mixer, with water, to form a puree.
• Apply on the affected area and cover with cheesecloth or bandage.

13. Calcium water
• Take a piece of cotton cloth and dip it in calcium water or comfrey.

14. Basil leaves
• Blend 10-15 basil leaves with 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 garlic cloves, salt and pepper.
• Apply a coat of this mixture on the rashes.

15. Vitamin C
• Increase the intake of food rich in Vitamin C.
• Citrus fruits will work best in this regard.

16. Cod liver and Vitamin E
Aloe Vera gel, cod liver oil and Vitamin E oil are also helpful in curing body rash.

17. Cleansing scrub
• Make a cleansing scrub by soaking a handful of nuts in a small quantity of water.
• Blend these nuts along with half an avocado as avocados contain healthy oils that help to protect and moisturize your skin.
• Massage your skin gently with this creamy natural exfoliating paste.
• You can then allow it to remain on your skin for about 10 minutes before you rinse it off.
• You can add a few drops of fresh lemon juice to this paste to help cleanse your skin of the uppermost layer of dead skin cells.
