8. Lemon Juice and Papaya
• Make a mixture of lemon juice and papaya.
• Apply it on the cracked heels.
• Let it stand there for 20 minutes at least.
• Wash off after 20 minutes.
9. Ripe banana
• Take a super ripe banana that has turned black, and mash it.
• Apply it on the affected areas.
• Let it stand there for 15 minutes at least.
• This helps in quick healing of cracked heels.
10. Paraffin wax
• Take Paraffin wax, and melt it by adding some coconut oil to it.
• Fill in the crack with this mixture while going to bed.
• Wash it off in the morning.
• Administer this around 2 weeks and the cracked heels will disappear.
General home remedies for Cracked heels
• Massage your heels with sesame oil before going to bed.
• Massage your feet with coconut oil every night and at dawn, scrub and rinse it off.
• Take lukewarm water and soak your feet in it for 15 minutes.
• This will loosen the dead skin and later wash it off with a pumice stone.
• Mix raw salt (khada namak) in Luke warm water, and scrub your heels sin it as you soak it.
• This is a natural pedicure for your feet.
• This will exfoliate your feet too.
• After washing your feet, massage with paraffin oil
• Vaseline or hydrogenated vegetable oil will also work very well on cracked heels.
• These oils will keep the feet hydrated.
• Mix turmeric, tulsi and camphor in equal parts along with aloe Vera gel and apply the paste on the heels.
• Just plain aloe Vera gel is also great for cracked heels.
• Mix sodium bicarbonate in lukewarm water and soak your feet in it.
• Wash it off later with a pumice stone.
• This helps in exfoliation too.
• Mix sugar with some oil, (olive, coconut, jojoba oil, just any oil) and scrub your feet with it.
• It is the sweetest cure for cracked heels.
• Drink a lot of water to keep your skin and body hydrated.
• Wear the exact size of footwear.
• Thin soles and backed shoes are not recommended when suffering with cracked heels.
• Moisturize the feet and specifically the heels regularly.
• Keep your feet clean.
• Scrub and Exfoliate them regularly.
• Omega 3 and zinc deficiencies cause cracked heels.
• Wash your feet every time you come home.
• Use good creams and products for your feet too.
• Use powder in your shoes and socks.
• Walk on green grass.

Home remedies for Cracked Heels
1. Warm Water
• Foot care starts with washing and scrubbing the feet with warm water to remove dirt and grime.
• Warm water helps to relax the feet and moisturize them and prevent cracked heels.
• Clean your feet thoroughly before going to bed.
2. Turnip
• Peel, chop and boil one piece of turnip.
• Mash it well and apply on cracked heels.
• Leave it on for at least two hours.
• Wash feet with warm water and cover them with socks.
• Do this treatment daily for one week
• Do this twice a week after your heels begin to heal.
• Turnip is a natural gel and it is an effective remedy for cracked heels.
3. Vinegar and Olive Oil
• Take apple cider vinegar and olive oil in equal proportions.
• Mix them well and store in a glass jar.
• Apply on your feet daily at night
• Wear socks for the solution to work better.
• This solution removes tan and help to smoothen the cracks in heels.

4. Glycerine

• Scrub the paste on wet feet for one minute.

• Wash feet with warm water.
• Dry the thoroughly and apply moisturizer.
• Wear socks to protect your feet from dust.
6. Homemade Foot Pack
• Mash a full ripe banana.
• Add one teaspoon honey and half teaspoon lemon juice to it.
• Mix well and apply on cracked heels for half an hour.
• Wash feet with warm water and cover them with socks.
7. Glycerine and Rose water
• Mix glycerine and rosewater together and apply in on the heels daily.
• Take 1/4th bucket of water and squeeze one lemon in it and soak your feet in it.
• Wash it with pumice stone and soap.
• Do this twice a week.
